Think your dog is beyond training? Take heart! With patience and the right approach, any dog's behavior can and will improve with training. We use positive reinforcement and are sensitive to each dog's personality and ability to focus.
Before you give up and resign yourself to living with an unruly housemate, give us a call. One visit with Jason and you'll get hope back! A bit of training and you'll enjoy the dog of your dreams.
K9 Comfort trainer Jason Rowan is a graduate of Animal Behavior College and is certified as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer. Animal Behavior College (ABC) is approved by the Bureau for Private Post-secondary and Vocational Education and is an internationally recognized school. The focus of his education enables him to effectively and humanely train your dog while keeping alive the spark that makes your dog so special to you.
Your dog will stay with us for 14 days, during that time; we will teach them how to become a well-mannered and obedient dog through shaping and positive reinforcement. We will continue our leadership training which establishes patience and focus.
Most everyone can teach their dog to sit, lay down, etc but still are having other behavior problems like: jumping, bolting at the door, not coming when called, etc. Jason will incorporate these obedience behaviors into the dog’s daily routine using leadership exercises. This is accomplished through body language, posturing, and redirecting behavior. They will be introduced and conditioned to the E-Collar during this time frame. You will then be able to enjoy your dog with a wireless leash.
The day you bring him/her for training, you will have a private lesson going over the importance of Leadership and how it plays a big role in training. You will also receive another private lesson the day you pick up.
During their stay, he/she will have finished behaviors on:
Platform training, No Jumping, sitting politely at doors, come command, Sit, lay down, and loose leash waking. The sits will become longer and will wait for your release, no more bolting.
Total: — $2,200
Whether you're just beginning to consider training or are committed to proceed, we encourage you to get in touch!
All dogs need to chew. Dogs that can't chew get sad, and sad dogs destroy shoes and furniture.
